Organized by Watoto Church Uganda as part of its 40th Anniversary celebrations, the tournament aims to raise funds for enhancing the Hope Vocational and Technical Institute. The funds will be used to provide essential vocational training tools and resources for up to 1,400 students.
Equity Bank’s Managing Director, Anthony Kituuka, emphasized that the bank’s partnership and sponsorship highlight its mission to transform lives, provide dignity, and expand opportunities for wealth creation. He noted, “We are thrilled to support Watoto Church Uganda in this meaningful initiative and firmly believe in the transformative power of education and empowerment.”
Kituuka also mentioned that Equity Bank has a long-standing involvement in the golf community, with notable events such as the Namulonge Open. He encouraged both golfers and non-golfers to join the event, promising an exciting Saturday.
