Viboyo recently shared the story behind Nyumbani’s creation during an appearance on Vybe Life.
The process began when Jeff Kiwa informed Viboyo that Goodlyfe was willing to collaborate with him due to their struggle in finding a good song.

Radio and Weasel, living in Nyanama at the time, invited Viboyo to start composing the song.
Radio proposed the idea of a frustrated woman in marriage as the song’s theme, with Viboyo contributing the word “Nyumbani” to the composition.
After Weasel crafted the beat, Radio made some lyrical adjustments, and Jeff suggested recording the song with Benon Mugumbya.
Despite Benon’s initial hesitation, Aziz Azion’s guitar rhythm and Jeff’s encouragement convinced them of the song’s potential.
Months later, when the song became a hit in Gulu, Benon realized its success and urged Viboyo to create a music video.

Facing financial constraints, Viboyo offered a printer as his contribution to the video’s production.
They collaborated with Bashir Lukyamuzi of Badi Films for the video shoot, with Weasel providing some of Viboyo’s wardrobe.
After encountering delays in finding Bashir, they eventually located him and completed the video production, which premiered on NTV Uganda.
