In the second quarter, Uganda shook off their nerves and intensified their offensive efforts. They played a faster-paced game, capitalizing on transitions and moving the ball well to create open shots.
Explosive Third Quarter
The third quarter showcased Uganda’s strategy at its best. The Junior Silverbacks exploded for 31 points, extending their lead to as much as 32 points. Key players Musiime Kagaba, Andrew Mukisa Nkugwa, and Richard Ssenyange, who returned after missing the opener against Tanzania, bolstered the team’s performance.
