Insights from the East Africa Carbon Markets Forum: Towards Sustainable Solutions

The East Africa Carbon Markets Forum convened experts, investors, policymakers, and stakeholders to explore the imperative of Expanding Financing for the Carbon Markets in the region. Held at the Four Points by Sheraton, the event provided a platform for critical discussions and insights into nature-based carbon solutions.

Daniel Yin, CEO of Spouts International, underscored the importance of transparent relationships between NGOs and local governments, citing the necessity for scalability and impact in nature-based projects. Dennis Muggaga, from the Ministry of Finance, highlighted the government’s commitment to facilitating investments in climate finance while ensuring thoroughness and accountability.
