Provisional discussions have taken place between Bayern Munich and Kompany.

Despite bringing Burnley up from the Championship, Kompany was unable to keep them in the Premier League this season.

Reports reveal that Hansi Flick, Erik ten Hag, and Jose Mourinho are no longer being considered for the role.
