The midfielder’s previous contract expired this summer, but negotiations were postponed due to his participation in Euro 2024 with Croatia, who were eliminated in the group stage.
Modric has been with Real Madrid since 2012, joining from Tottenham in a £33 million deal. During his time with Los Blancos, he has won numerous accolades.
Currently, Modric has made 534 appearances for Real Madrid, scoring 39 goals. For Croatia, he has earned 178 caps, holding the all-time record for appearances for his country.
