Manchester United have confirmed that veteran defender Raphael Varane will leave the club as a free agent this summer.
United announced the news in a statement on Tuesday morning following months of speculation over his future.

It emerged earlier in the season that United had decided against triggering the one-year option in Varane’s contract. And the World Cup winner will seek pastures new once the season comes to an end later this month.
