State Minister for Finance Henry Musasizi has urged youth leaders in Rubanda District to cultivate trust, reliability, consistency, and dependability to achieve long-term success.
Speaking at the Annual General Meeting of youth leaders in his constituency at St. John’s Secondary School Ikumba in Hamurwa Town Council, the Rubanda East MP emphasized these values.
Musasizi stressed the critical role of trust as the youth prepare for the future, highlighting the importance of consistency. He noted that the youth have often been taken advantage of and encouraged them to make principled decisions rather than being swayed by external influences that could compromise their long-term goals.
“Ensure that you are trusted and consistent in all your actions. If you support NRM today, continue to support NRM. Let people know where you stand,” Musasizi advised. “I have built strong relationships through trust, and people know I mean what I say.”

Rubanda District Chairperson Stephen Ampeire Kasyaba announced that Shs153 million has been distributed to 12 youth groups under the Youth Livelihood Programme. He advised the youth to join these groups to benefit from government initiatives.
