New Vision Criticized for Reporting on Eddy Kenzo’s Relationship

Phiona Nyamutoro has publicly criticized the New Vision for what she describes as unprofessional journalism. Her criticism was prompted by a story published by the newspaper regarding her relationship with Eddy Kenzo. The couple recently formalized their relationship in a private Kukyala, making them a frequent topic in the headlines over the past few months.

During a recent interview, Eddy Kenzo mentioned that he had known Phiona Nyamutoro since she was 26 years old. The New Vision article suggested that Kenzo, who was previously in a relationship with Rema, had secretly been involved with Nyamutoro. This implication did not sit well with Nyamutoro.

Taking to social media platform X, Nyamutoro addressed the issue directly. She called out New Vision’s CEO, Don Wanyama, expressing her disappointment with the newspaper’s conduct. Nyamutoro emphasized that a national newspaper should not operate like a blog and urged New Vision to uphold higher journalistic standards.
