NIC Netball Club Anticipates Victory at East Africa Netball Championship

As the East Africa Netball Club Championship approaches, Jocelyn Ucanda, the team manager of NIC Netball Club, radiates confidence in their ability to defend their title. With rigorous training as their cornerstone, NIC is poised to uphold their reputation as champions earned last year.

“Even in the absence of the league, my team remained dedicated to training without a break. The girls are in peak condition and in excellent health. However, we are missing two players who were disheartened by the league’s absence. Despite our efforts to reach out to them, they cited personal challenges,” Ucanda explained.

Despite NIC’s unwavering preparation, Ucanda maintains a humble perspective, acknowledging the strength of competition from other clubs in Uganda and neighboring countries, all of whom have likely undergone intensive training.
