Parliament has approved the reallocation of 750.47 billion shillings as directed by the President while reconsidering the Appropriation Bill 2024 for the financial year 2024/25, which totals 72.1 trillion shillings.

The Minister of State for Finance in charge of General Duties, Henry Musasizi, warned that maintaining these budget cuts would hinder the control of tsetse flies, adversely affecting animal productivity and tourism.
