Uganda Gears Up to Host FIBA Zone V U-18 Championship

The championship, featuring both boys’ and girls’ teams from Zone V of the African continent, will take place at the Lugogo Indoor Stadium in Kampala. Sserunjogi emphasized the importance of hosting such significant tournaments, noting, “We are also preparing our teams to be in good shape because this is a platform for qualification for the FIBA U-18 African Championship. It is always good for us to host such big tournaments because it also gives us a lot of mileage as a country.”
