Airtel Uganda has introduced a new campaign designed to promote digital financial services by encouraging customers to transition to cashless transactions. The initiative offers daily, weekly, and monthly rewards in the form of e-money, which will be deposited directly into users’ wallets.
Under the new rewards campaign from Airtel Mobile Commerce Uganda, Ugandans who use Airtel Money could win prizes such as a brand-new Toyota RAV 4 Hybrid SUV, motorbikes, and cash prizes. Launched last week in Kampala, the three-month campaign, named Vroomula Amajja, will run for 13 weeks. During this period, Airtel Money customers, agents, and businesses using Airtel Pay merchant codes have the chance to win prizes by simply completing any Airtel Money transaction.

“With Vroomula Amajja, we’re not only transforming how Ugandans transact; we’re also changing lives, fueling dreams, and driving the country towards a cashless future where every transaction opens up new possibilities,” Aritho stated.
Each day, 45 Ugandans will receive cash boosts directly into their Airtel Money wallets. Weekly, nine individuals will win new boda bodas (motorbikes), and one lucky participant will take home the grand prize of a Toyota RAV 4 Hybrid car.
To enter the campaign, customers need to perform transactions using Airtel Money via the USSD code or My Airtel App, including sending, depositing, or withdrawing cash, mobile banking, bill payments, Airtel Money Pay, international transfers, or purchasing airtime. This will automatically enter them into the draws for daily or monthly prizes.
